Class Actions

Class actions allow victims harmed by the same conduct to pursue their claims collectively.  This aggregation of claims makes compensation possible even though it would be economically infeasible for a victim to pursue his claim individually.

We represent both corporations and individuals in class actions.  Our expertise has been judicially recognized in cases where we have been appointed interim lead counsel for classes in In re Packaged Ice Antitrust Litig., MDL No. 1952, and In re DFA Cheese Antitrust Litig., MDL No. 2031.  We are co-counsel in other class actions: In re American Express Anti-Steering Rules Antitrust Litig. (No. II), MDL No.2221; In re Fresh and Process Potatoes Antitrust Litig., MDL No. 2186; In re Refrigerant Compressors Antitrust Litig., MDL No. 2042.
